Napa County Office of Education
The Napa County office of Education (NCOE) provides educational leadership, resources and services to the five school districts in Napa County, delivers a wide range of direct services to over 6000 children, and acts as a liaison between the California Department of Education and local school districts on a variety of state-mandated accountability measures. Our work is accomplished through partnerships with school districts, community agencies, teachers, families, and communities. Our direct services include seven child development centers, career education classes at most Napa high schools, and alternative school classes for students who are on probation and/or have been expelled from their school district. We assist districts with purchasing and business services, credentialing, grant writing, and professional development. MISSION: The mission of the Napa County Office of Education, is a flexible, countywide educational resource, is to support and collaborate with districts, access and coordinate existing services, and develop additional services in response to changing community needs.
