California Human Development
California Human Development - Farmworker Services, is a non-profit community-based organization. We were funded in 1967 as North Bay Human Development Corp., in 1979 we expanded our service area and became California Human Development.
We implement the WIOA 167 National Farmworker Jobs Program (funded by the Dept. of Labor) which is designed to prepare migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their dependents (who suffer chronic seasonal unemployment and underemployment) for full participation in the labor force.
We also implement the Dislocated Agricultural Workers Program (funded through La Cooperativa Campesina de California ) which is a retraining program for those agricultural workers who have been displaced or dislocated.
