The Sutter Home Visitor Center is housed in the original winery built in 1874. Owned by the Trinchero family since 1947, this historic landmark is open daily 10:00 to 5:00 for wine tasting and shopping in our Wine Country store. Visitors are invited to stroll through the extensive gardens surrounding Sutter Home's Victorian and sample the wines of Trinchero and other special selections in The Reserve Room. Sutter Home, which introduced White Zinfandel to the wine industry, is Napa County's largest producer of varietal wines. Sutter Home does not provide public tours, however it does host tastings. All tastings are free.
