Queen of the Valley Hospital Foundation was established in 1969 by a group of local residents who wanted to ensure ongoing, locally managed support for quality medical care in our community. They knew that a financially healthy hospital was vital to the future of the place they called home. From the beginning, the Foundation has had one mission: to help provide Queen of the Valley Medical Center with the resources it needs to offer the best possible healthcare. We are drawing on the strengths of our past - in particular, the tradition of service to the community good that created the Foundation in the first place. The volunteer spirit - the desire to make things better for everyone here, just because it is the right thing to do - is still what drives the Foundation.
